A group of Israeli athletes is participating in winter-themed events, including sledding and ice hockey.
A team from the northern town of Kiryat Gat is the latest to take part in the Winter Olympics.
The team is one of several in the Israeli Paralympics who have competed in ice hockey in the past year.
The team has been participating in the ice hockey competition in Kiryats Ice Park for about a year and a half, but has only won one game.
Last week, the team won their first international ice hockey match in Kiryan, in a friendly game between the local team and the Israelis.
This year’s event is scheduled for Nov. 19.
The Kiryathat Gat team has trained at Kiryashat for a year, including several weeks during the winter season.
In addition to ice hockey, the Kiryaths ice rink also hosts concerts, community events and other sports events.
