The NFL will wear a unique logo during the 2017 season, which will feature the “D” of the New York Giants.
The logo is part of a new “special gear” initiative designed to help fans get more out of their favorite teams during the season.
The league has not yet announced the name of the special gear.
“We are excited to announce our commitment to this new program to promote our favorite teams across the league and in the fan community,” NFL Vice President of Public Affairs Nick Novak said in a statement.
“It will include a unique brand that we are excited about.”
The logo will be worn by a number of teams throughout the season, including the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, Washington Redskins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons.
The Giants’ logo will only be worn during the first two games of the regular season, when they face the New England Patriot.
The new logo is designed to be visible during all games, including home games, when the Giants face the San Francisco 49ers.
It’s unclear whether the logo will stay in place through the rest of the season and, if so, how long it will stay.
In the meantime, fans will have a new way to get into the league’s exclusive VIP suites and seats for all 32 home games this season.
“The Giants will have their own VIP suite for all home games from November 25 through December 10,” the league said.
“This suite will include seating for 2,000 guests, including a first-class suite and a second-class room.
The suite will also include a dedicated VIP area to accommodate the fans that come to the games.”
Fans can also reserve tickets to the Giants-Patriots game at Levi’s Stadium from November 15 through December 17 for $199.95.
